Art objects are temporal marks on the landscape, indicative of our impact, but also our minuteness in the history of the earth. Visual language has the ability not only to describe, but also to communicate. I see myself as a spectator, scientist and sieve. My work is a conversation between myself, my audience, and the world as a useable substance.
My work at this point investigates the implications of natural cycles and social currents. I see my subject matter and materials as pieces of shared human experience.
